I Asked From A Year Ago The Same Thing,i Wanted To Make Led Moving Display Using Pic And Can Change The Msgs On It By Interface It To The Pc Serial Port ( With A Visual Basic Program)...

But No Help Till Now........ Sad  Sad

I decide to use 4053 for Green and Red data line switching.

I want to drive 12 unit 8x8 Bicolor LED DotMatrix.
What is the algorithm for this ?
I just want color change. Red to Green or
Green to Red. Not same time displaying.

There is no problem for 8x8 Matrix model.
I want to know what is the bicolor driwing technics.
4053 is enough ? Am I right way ?

i have a related proyect 'about dot matrix
but its's for 8051.

I need a little help to build my basic system for 8051 (i don't like the xternal RAMs and ROMs)
