if i can collect some data by microcontroller  AT89c51 and i can send it by RS232 to a PC
how can i monitor this data from another location through the internet

can one help

can one help

you can create application that uses server component (indy for delphi).
assign non-using port to that component,
then you can point your PC by IP:port notation.
you will able to control your atmel directly over serial port Wink

you have to connect your micro to internet directly or through pc.
If latter is not the case - implement ppp and connect your micro to modem with dialup to isp .
then . As as usual ip does change with every logon if your contract with isp does not include static ip arrangement . If latter - you are in business . If not you have to somehow implement dynamic dns support in your micro or in remote pc connected to internet . Connection peers must know their addresses . At least one have to be known .

Yet also it can be possible to adsl router with ethernet - ethernet connectivity in mcu must be done .

For ppp there is a book tcp ip lean for pic controllers . Also some free stacks should be in internet supporting .

Other way? Connection through mobile . Or direct dial up from micro to remote pc .

u would need ethernet modude with tcp/ip stack code,
try search on google for dev board "mcs-51 ethernet"

Hi, If you can transfer data between MCU and computer.
Next, you should try to develope a software on computer whit C++ Builder, VisualC++ Delphie or HTML...

Monitor for? if just for see the data.U can use the serial port monitor tools and the remote PC program(like logmein or teamviewer) to control
and monitor ur data.

The new PIC18F97J60 is an all-in-one solution as it has 128kb of flash, about 4k of Ram with inbuilt ethernet facility so no need for Enc28J60 except you don't program PIC at all.

This  is a very small module  convert  Ethernet data to serial, and have memory data internal see link
