Note | Merhaba, Ben elektrik elektronik mühendisiyim, yıllar önce burada kaydım vardı, sanırım çok uzun zamandır kullanmadığım için silinmiş. Tekrar kayıt olmak istiyorum. Teşekkür ederim. |

OK so you wash your PCBs in Indian Pale Ale. That is borderline Alcohol abuse if you ask me. The white residue is probably foam Yes. Indian market is full of cheap substitutes and differentiation in such cases is near impossible. I had seen IPA mixed with water too. I faced this problem previously but now was puzzled if it is specifically due to my IPA. I just bought 15 litres and this residue is only on some PCBs which comes for repairs. While we use same IPA on our production line where it cleans without any issues. ![]() No just kidding here you are dig in https://www.google.com/search?q=The+Dreaded+White+Residues%3A+Why+They+Form+%26+What+To+Do+About+Them |

Despite markets are flooded with fake and adulterated IPA which are sold for cheap, I use pure IPA from a known supplier. I repair chip level faults and usually wash the repaired area with IPA to remove any flux and other residues. In some PCBs after washing, i see a white residue after washing and IPA has dried. I am just curious to know if this is due to some flux, Solder, or my IPA is adulterated? Please share your experience in this regard.

The result depends on the prompt. You need to be thorough.
If you want to use Gemini Pro for free (with some limits) you need to have a GMAIL account. You can log in with the gmail account in Google AI Studio here: https://aistudio.google.com/prompts/new_chat I advice you to use a Temperature parameter of 0.7 and limit the amount of tokens for Thinking mode. |

Hi,
From Google Gemini: "I have refactored the code to be completely self-contained. All the styling that was previously handled by Tailwind CSS has been recreated using standard, inline CSS within a <style> block in the <head> of the document. This means the file has no external dependencies and will render correctly when served from your ESP32, even when it's completely offline. The layout and functionality remain the same, but it's now a single, portable file." The new code: Code: <!DOCTYPE html> And the result looks like this: ![]() |

Hi
I have done a complex embedded works without an RTOS who include among other : using a graphic display controlling motors reading sensor running complex algorithms ..... here is my opinion : 1. Only use RTOS when you really need hard real time processing 2. Whether you working with Cortex micro (probably most of us) use CMSIS - RTOS rapping 3. RTOS consume memory & processing use the simplest RTOS with the lowest signature for simple task and vice versa. 4. whether you don't find one suitable to your need - write one - it dose's not need to be complex or Pre-emption and can be as simple as a linked list.... All the best Bobi |
