I personally dont think an ARM processor would fit in my projects.
if my project requires touch screen interface, Mpeg4 decoding or other powerfull interface ,why use ARM ?
i will use a mini itx mainboard and write the codes in Delphi or VB.net  it would be A LOT easier AND cheaper. i see ARM "education Boards" adv. sell above 500 USD.
for small/simple  project i use 89S52 , and for medium complexity i use ATmega 128. Thats all .
except that you are writing codes or developing hardware for Nokia or a PDA , Learning ARM is useless..
tell me how you think.
