this Brennner8 USB PIC programmer works vey well on xp but its not works in vista
how can we use this programmer on vista?

Which software do you use to upload the code to the pic? Try run in it in vista with "as administrator" rights, or in compatability mode.

i use orginal software of this programmer. i use usburn17a6 but other versions dont work too
when u run the program its give error code 997 and its not dedect programmer
administrator rights  not solve this problem

Did Windows give you this error code, or the usburn17a6? Did you try with the compatability mode?

usburn17a6 gives error code 997 and if u click ok button programs runs but dont connect hardware therfore dont works

hi, workaround on my Vista system (MS Vista Enterprise):
- use the 1.51 RC2
- added Brenner8, device installed properly after pointing to right directory
- started SW as administrator... uuuups... error code...  Huh
- changed properties of SW: run as Administrator, compability mode Windows XP SP2.... wow... it is working  Cheesy
