Hi everyone,

I'm trying to locate the firmware for a ~20-year-old u-blox TIM-4H-0-000 GPS module that is built into an older instrument I'm working with. Unfortunately, the original firmware seems to have vanished from the internet.

I'm specifically looking for:

    ANTARIS Firmware V5.00 for LEA-4H / TIM-4H / AEK-4H Evaluation Kit
    Filename: ANTARIS_Fw_5.00_MOD-4H-Setup_963.exe
    Size: ~394.4 KB
    Date: ~2006-01-18

If anyone still has an old LEA-4H, TIM-4H, or AEK-4H Evaluation Kit, there's a chance the firmware installer might be sitting in your archive or CD-ROM.

Would greatly appreciate if someone could share the file or point me to a source.

Thanks in advance!

Have you heard about wayback machine, It can be helpful in cases like this

I found your file in the 2009 version of the site. Before that the firmware was hidden behind registration. So a few cut and try may be needed

Thanks, I had already tried that. I was able to find the file name there, but unfortunately, it's not available anywhere.

It worked for me. And I managed to download the file without no problem from your link and the link I provided.

Yes, the 4P can be downloaded, but the one I'm looking for, the 4H, unfortunately cannot.

Edit sorry you need a small exe file for that in addition

I was able to download 4H from the above links. In case you cannot, I can set another way to download this fw: ANTARIS_Fw_5.00_MOD-4H.zip
But there is no exe file in the archive, just one binary: ANTARIS_Fw_5.00_MOD-4H.bin

I think I have the last file needed
Go here www.famosastudio.com/download/democode/SF_u-center_5.07_Installer.zip But the whole thing was kind of on the dodgy side. As the archive was packed and repacked many times. I did upload the u-center_5.07_Installer.exe file here https://virusscan.jotti.org/ came back negative. But to be on the safe side use 7zip to extract this file. The content can be run from any folder by the look of it.
