Hi,

I'am trying to find out a microcontroller on an existing board with label scraped off, it has 20 pin in pdip package and the crystal is connected to pin 1 and 2. Anyone knows?

TIA, Ichan.

Hi

Some old 8 bits µC from Motorola(Freescale) had Xtal on 1 and 2 pins

one of them in 68HC05 family : 68HC705J1A
Here is the link for its datasheet http://www.freescale.com/files/microcontrollers/doc/data_sheet/MC68HC705J1A.pdf?pspll=1

Maybe some 68HC908 have same pinout fot oscillator
Regards

Ah... You are my hero!

Too bad, as you said it's an obsolete one, and no PDIP 20 replacement...  Sad

Best Regards, Ichan.
