As optics doesn't fit onto electronics my request landed here (o;

Is someone aware of an optical CAD software which can calculate lenses, prisms and mirrors?
As I am total noob to optics I don't know of any software at all...

Preferably something that can simulate how a picture from a beamer casts on a wall...
and if it runs on Linux even better (o;
