SMF 2 is the next step, and more opportunities (at least, embedding videos from youtube)

Smf 2 has better features than 1.x. But, we are not using regular 1.x. It's heavily modified. I coded lots of mods to make it use for us. Invitation system is unique feature just to this forum, which is visitors can post a request. For that reason, we can't migrate to the new version.
