I found a vsm (i.e. dll based) model for the tone decoder IC LM567 . I have included the model and test program but it does not simulate. The spice model of this chip is also not available on the net. For that matter, only macromodels of such chips (eg. PLL) are available. It is difficult to simulate PLL at componrent level.

In the design, the centre frequency of the VCO is around 90 KHz.If you try to adjust the input frequency, it says 'the simulation cannot be run in real time'. From the documentation of proteus, it seems that this could be an error in the dll itself. Can anyone research this model and throw more light on this ?

Note : The LED should light when the input frequency is around 90 KHz. Refer the data sheet of LM567 for the formula.
