Hi,

I am interested to know how long has the Sonsivri forum been on the go ? I was looking back through my emails and the first email I can see is from 16 Nov 2005, but it's a private message notification so I have no idea when I first noticed Sonsivri and obviously no idea when Sonsivri was born.

Who can tell ?

Cam.

EDIT: missed it before, sort members by date registered, it appears Sonsivri was born 2005-04-16, and I joined 7 months later.

Is 2005-04-16 the date Sonsivri was born ?

No it was around before that date I think 2003 , the forum as we know it now was started around the date you have give or take a day or 2, I re-registered on april 17 2005 as everyone needed to re-register when SONSIVRI re-started this Forum
I can't remember how long the original was up maybe SONSIVRI can fill in the gap and  even post a pic of the old forum cause I know he did before I can picture it in my mind just can't draw you the picture Smiley
but I'll bet some where among all the junk I have is a CD with most of the files that were there on the original Forum if only I remembered Dos 3.3 I could maybe use them  Tongue

Now you mention it I think I also remember re-registering and the old forum, I certainly remember a big change in appearance, I could be wrong as I have no references to date it by. And do I remember a period that the forum was off the air, a few months perhaps during the change over ? Again I am cloudy on the details.

Would love to have the blanks in my memory filled with respect to Sonsivri. Would be good to hear the full story. I am sure it will be an interesting one.

Love the Godfather picture !!

I can't remember when I joined the first forum, but I remember we had our own file sharing system on-site where we could upload stuff to share, and browse other's shares.

"Alter ego" has as origin the Latin, the other me. Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde, Superman & Clark Kent, Bruce Banner & Hulk ...
In reality we all have several alter ego, with family, friends, work ... This is more or less, and have no reason to notice.

I have no account on Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Alter ego was perhaps the wrong word to use.
Sonsivri is a lot like the alien Roger in American Dad, Like Roger, Sonsivri is sarcastic, surly, amoral, self-centered, hedonistic, alcoholic, and speaks in swish. Spending his time watching trash TV, eating junk food, doing drugs, and dressing up a variety of personas, and as such would have a larger following than 3, Tongue

Sounds like a nice guy to me  Cool . Does that on the other hand explain that we do not see him as often as we would like to?
