hi
i have found a new trick
you can download the PCWHD Demo from the ccs web site.
and after that use the the regular PCWH 4.049 from the rapidshare to complete the demo version.
so you have a complete PCWHD compiler
now you need the PCD.crg file
here is the contains for you
PCD.CRG file
43657 2717 mode: tes 18266 43888 9000146
best regards

Thank you, ahmadexp. But I think PCD is registered in demo version, it has a "d" after version number.

Hi "ahmadexp", I cannot download it beacuse I have disabled cokies on my browser for security reasons. Please upload it to rapidshare if possible. Thanks! and ...you wrote: "...use the the regular PCWH 4.049 from the rapidshare to complete the demo version." Why? Simply install and apply the 4 CRGs? (3 from the patch and one from you). IDEupdate? Please help me! regards zuisti

Move your system time over 30 days ahead and try to run PCWHD.

I have used CCS for a number of projects and been OK.
I am now looking at MikroC.

This version also has serious bugs. DS1307 driver that I found on internet was compiled regularly by the version 4.038. However this version did not generate the code for time and date reading rutines. Even it did not give any error or warning Actually arguments were transferred to the subroutiunes as call by value, however parameter lists in these routines were like ...(byte &day, byte &mth,...). I changed the subroutine calling as call by reference and solved the problem. Another bug was as this: driving a 4 digit 7segment display in a while loop (also in for(; loop) didnot work. When I removed some unused variables (!) solved the problem... (Stupid bug)

For 18F4620
CCS accepts this declaration: #bit STKFUL=GETENV("BIT:SKTFUL")// S*KT*FUL
But actually it should be #bit STKFUL=GETENV("BIT:STKFUL") // S*TK*FUL
typo error in the device editor penetrates into the compilation.
Tools->Device Editor->pic18F4620->Register : top 6 registers of SFR ordered by address in reverse manner. This may cause serious problem if you use GETENV("SFR:...") for the registers over there.
You should be carefull when using GETENV and check whether device editor lists the registers at their exact address. Otherwise you have to edit the registers by clicking the mouse on the edit button and start to modify. Don't forget to save (by clicking edit buton, it turns out to save button)
