Here is a test program in CCS C to test SPI communication between two 16F877s , one configured as a master and the other as a slave. The source code and proteus design is included. Toggle the switch on the master side to control the LED on slave side.

The defs16f877.h file is useful for writing CCS code for PIC16f877.
