Looks more like a Hall sensor. In VCR these are used in Servo feedback loop to detect and lock cylinder motor and capstan motor to a common clock.

These are generaly 4 pin device and as I remember DC resistance between two terminals is around 100 ohms two terminals were shorted, supply ,gnd & bias used to be designations.

MAXPAYNE , I saw you working hard with the unknown part , may I suggest you see Allegromicro hall sensor ICs , these are widely available and very low cost and hi tech sensors to work with.

NO it isnt a Sensirion humidity sensor I have designed with those.
MAXPAYNE you can experiment with one of this to find it out , usually hall sensors with 4 pin termination is supposed to be made as per industry standard. Experiment with it bring magnet close and see the o/p on CRO or Multimeter also .

Try this as per your pic no 2 , the second one , pin 1 should be VCC , and the last one has to be GND , in between are the O/P pins , apply only 3VDC and see what O/p you get when a magnetic field is present . Please judge for your self also maybe I am wrong you shouldnot damage your IC or if you have plenty and you can take the risk  , remember one thing dont apply 3V continuously make a switch and press it for less than a second only and see the output (this to check if VCC and GND pins are correct)
