NoteWho am I:
Robby from Belgium, consultant (callcenters and social media) and electronics hobbyist.

I have a lot of experience programming PHP, JS, HTML, DHTML, ... so that's a place where I can help others.

Concerning electronics: I've always been a LED freak, I love those blinky lights :) One day I decided that those default controllers are actually rather boring, I wanted my LED lights to interact with me and the environment.

After some searching I found.. the Arduino. Wow, talk about an eye opener. Incredible what you can do with this board. After copying a lot of online examples (and buying more and more electronic components) I decided it was time to try something else.

An Arduino is fun and easy, but also big and limited. So I ordered a Pickit2 and some PICS. Again, wow. These things are fun. I've already built a LEDstrip controller with a PIC16F628A and some ULN2003A's. Next step is to make an ethernet board for the PIC 18F so that I can replace the Arduino in my home automation system.

My latest discovery is the MSP430 line and this thanks to the TI launchpad. I love the realtime debugging in CCS4.

In conclusion: In the beginning I'll mostly contribute in the Internet Scripting Languages part, but I hope to be able to contribute to the electronics part soon as well.
