Hey guys.. How do I insert a ruler/scale in an image?  I have attached a reference image.. I use tools like photofiltre and photoshop

place ruler on one layer and image on an other layer.
and use the ruler in photoshop to set to true size.

....or you could, now I know this is kind of radical and out of the box for you Gen Z folks, take the picture with a ruler in it....

@solutions: Thats a nice idea but I would like an indicator of appropriate size of the board on the ruler..check the refernce image. the darker shade of blue shows the image size.
@pickit2: You said place a ruler...how do you do tht.. thr is one ruler that is for measurement and not part of the image...when u say place a ruler..I guess u mean place an object that looks like a ruler right?..or is thr a feature of photoshop tht i dnt knw abt..

I think pickit means take the picture with a physical ruler next to it
