Note	My professional experience is mainly in software development for 20+ years. It is mainly C, on several platforms from mainframes to PIC's, but I have used many other languages as well. I have been an electronics hobbyist for the same period and now most projects are PIC based. I currently run a small consulting company that works on hardware and software projects.   I would like to be a member of Sonsivri for a couple of reasons. - I would like to be able to contribute to the site. I think I have much to offer in the software area, especially with PICs. I spent many years in operating system development and support. I have working a lot with low level multi-threaded code. I think I can offer much in that area. - I have been hanging around as a guest for several years and would very much like to be able to thank those that have posted things that have been useful to me. - I regularly check in at your site (several times a week) and at least once a week I find that I would like to add something to a forum topic but cannot as a guest. I am currently an active member at several forum sites (machining, software and photography based), and I think I am a good citizen. I tend not to post unless I have something intelligent to say that has not yet been said. I hope that someone will invite me to Sonsivri. Thank you.
