NoteI will divide this note into two parts:
1) my interests/abilities, and what I have to offer to Sonsivri
2) what Sonsivri has to offer to me

My interests/abilities:
I am interested in embedded systems and microcontroller programming, ever since reading the Art of Electronics and ordering my first Arduino.
I am skilled with traditional analog electronics work, such as soldering, PCB design, etc.
I am also fairly good with programming, at least with a simple environment with inbuilt libraries such as those offered by Arduino and Python.
I will be able to share, with the Sonsivri community, my ideas about these interests as well as my experience (mostly with traditional electronics/analog methods, not so much with ultramodern electronics, which I am just delving into).

What Sonsivri has to offer to me:
Sonsivri will provide a convenient place for me to discuss new ideas before beginning prototyping, and to ensure that the methods I am using are the most efficient (I once built a whole RF-emitter circuit trying to send data binary-wise, similar to Morse code, then discovered that devices like Xbee exist!!), and to get feedback on some doubts I have related to electronics.

Thanks!

Sincerely,
Gamin
