hi to all

for the members who live far away from Frankfurt town,

I try two receivers one from conrad.de (641138) 10.21 euros and one from reichelt.de (950051) 13.80 euros.

The second receives reliably the DCF77 signal at my place (north Greece), the first no.
At pollin.de there is another one dcf module (810054) at 5 euros but I don't have it.

Have anybody here a simple and effective dcf receiver schematic?

regards

@mitsos

There is a transmitter in France also that uses TDF at 162Khz

See here
http://www.leunig.de/_en/_pro/radio-controlled-clock/funkuhren_DCF77_TDF.htm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%C3%A9l%C3%A9_Distribution_Fran%C3%A7aise
http://www.datelec.fr/signaux_horaires/p0.htm (w. receiver schematic)

It seems like a Phasemodulation on a "standard" 162Khz longwave transmitter signal.

Seems like coverage is better (in Greece) , but i don't know about availability of receivers.

Btw: All threads i have seen says that Pollin DCF77 is not as good as the two you have.

If this is only for 1 or 2 i'd get some cheap GPS'es like this one
RoyalTek RGM-2000 Sapphire GPS

http://cgi.ebay.de/GPS-MAUS-ROYALTEK-RGM2000-MD95000-MD40600-MD41600-/120619570508?pt=DE_PDA_Zubeh%C3%B6r_KM&hash=item1c157c954c

They have serial nmea TTL out (runs off 5v) ,and i have used them with AVR's
