An idear for this ? sewing machine on proteus

I need to make working an old sewing machine 110/220V, 70W).
I'm not used with 110V AC motor. have you schematic for testing this kind of application on proteus ?

Waht do you need to do, If it is faulty Proteus will not help you, I have looked in Proteus and they only do DC motors you may be able to help you.
But your not 100% clear in what you want to do

In fact, it's a 30 years old Elna sewing machine.
It use air pressure to push a sort of multi-switch who deliver:
1) motor contact
2) motor speed

The problem was very simple: just a dead plastic round part (so pressure come out)
Since it seems impossible to have it, I decide to make a switch for motor contact and short resistors too so speed was only selectable on machine, no more on pedal (pressure pedal was changed by switch pedal).
The problem is that it worked ... for about 30mn and burned   in fact I don't know what happen exactly because I does'nt opened the machine another time to see it. Probably I can repair this but the problem will re-happen.

So I'm looking for making a new system, using the sewing machine potentiometer and pedal switch but with my components (except potentiometer).
Of course this because sewing machine prices are very very ... and because this machine is in perfect state.

Ok you are looking for a way to control the speed of your sewing machine motor, is this correct?
So if you do, look for AC light dimmer circuits.
Or, try  PWM signal to a triac, the duty cycle will reflect the speed.

My suggestion is, (if you do not understand how to PWM a triac)
then buy a light dimmer and use it for the speed control,
it will be a lot less dangerous than buggerising with half a knowledge.
** WARNING ** 110 - 240 V mains can KILL you if you treat it wrong.

Proteus will NOT help you unless you know the proper specs of your motor,
and a 30 years old motor will not be likely supported in Proteus.

OK thanks. If I want a simple solution, I will buy a dimmer.
I know about high voltage  because I have been electronician for 20 years. My problem was about AC motors or AC hight current.

In fact I bought an old Janone sewing machine yesterday but, indeed, I will repair Elna when I have time.
