I need a small Tx and encoder plus matching Rcv and decoder, range about 200-250 ft (low UHF band). I’m looking at Linx’s KH Series which combines RF and encoder/decoder. The RF isn’t for Data it’s just to turn on and off an IR circuit which is used for Data. They will be enclosed in a weather tight housing (PLASTIC).

If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative to accomplish this I’d appreciate your input.
