Absolutly not. It's just to bad in everything... Use C18 or CCS instead, you'll feel much better with them...

Hi

Hitech PICC for pic 16 is a clean and robust compiler
I use it professionnaly for all pic16f applications
For pic18 I use professionnaly C18 (student version)
Porting code from hitech to C18 is easy (they are near ANSI standard compilers)
Porting code from 8051 Keil to Hitech was also easy.
I suggest this site to look at Hitech samples :
http://www.microchipc.com/sourcecode/

I prefer CCS at home for hobby.

PLEASE CLEAR MY MIND.

WHICH "C" COMPILER is universal for 16f , microchip have own compiler like c18, c30,c32.?

CCS have more bug,  i think,

and which is best for migration from asm or basic.

if i want to learn small "C" (not only small it has a huge lib and function) where to start for pro.

thanks Huh
