Every software hv some strong points.
I want to know the strong points & better application of solidworks & Catia.
As both products r from same company, they must hv some aim of developing 2 products.

They claim that CATIA is for modelling.
How about the experience of the fellow members here.
I am presently learning solidworks.
new version 6 of catia also released.
so what r the common points & where they differ.

guidance in the matter will be highly appreciated.
