Mono graphic LCD?? It's probably 4x20 text LCD, with 44780 compatibile controller. Maybe try standard pinout and soft from text 44780 compatibile LCD's.

I seen this while looking for an another data sheet.
First 16 pins are standard lcd format. 5 control ?/

I got a LCD from a Siemens operator panel OP7 It can handle 4 lines with each 20 characters but it can be a graphic screen. I don't know. The screen has 21 pins in a line. There are first 14 pins then 2 pins for the LED background and then another 5 pins left. It is ofcourse possible that this is a 44780 compatible screen (seen the first 14 pins, the next 2 for the LED) and that it has an additional digital contrast (regulating the contrast goes digital in the OP7 in 16 steps)
