dear all,

I have a one problem and u may help me .

I hava a circuit which is can read eeproms but i have a special eeprom which number is 93s46 (it is little different with 93c46) it has self protection mode . With my eeprom reader can i read without any loose of data content .

Hello,

For reference I've included the datasheets of both chips. As you state the difference is this self protection mode, please check the chapter "WRITE PROTECTION AND THE PROTECTION REGISTER" for details concerning this feature in the 93S46 datasheet. In case you still have a question please let me know !
