How about a CNC Section?
Maybe a sub section of robotics.
Many thanks to Rego, for all your time and hard work.

well CNCZONE is indeed a very good Site for info on CNC. But it does NOT have any place where software links are posted. So cnczone is good only for the info part. To get the softwares we'l have to look elsewhere. n plus to be honest its really hard to find CNC controller softwares...I been looking for a proper working patch(without the 500 Lines Limit) for the latest releases of MACH3 forever now but no luck...So am stuck with an older version of it...Sonsivri has already an amazing collection or software links updated daily by posters... It be great to have a section for CNC Applications and related info. Moderators kindly look into it...

Hit the try topic in section you want, in this case its might be "General Electronics" board.
lets see what happens than we may creat new board for it.

Maybe a good time to try this again, most CNC posts look out of place where they are now.
They need a new home.

The number of members who use CNC is also growing, I would add 3d printing to the same forum / board.
At this time, there is no where to ask advice on CNC or 3d printers / be it making or using.
for example setting spindle speed, and feed rate, for different materials like plastic or aluminium.

+1

And i think cnc laser (cutting/engraving/marking) can be added too.

Who will gonna start? As i am here selling cnc machines from china (router, laser, 3d printer, and cnc parts) then i think i can contribute some.
