Hi there,

Would you be so kind to tell how the AT91SAM7S64 must be programmed with the corresponding firmware.
As far as I know SAM-BA must be used. Is this programming affected by the position of the RUSB jumper (J11)?

Thanks!!!

Hello! This topic subsided a little and I decided to renew it!
I made a debugger from materials in the subject and get!
Shematic is in "shaoshunda" post, the PCB is of "designer" ver. - with modifications(easy to made).
I made three and now work fine in both modes - jtag and SWD!
Enjoy!

Hi nooknikz just wondering if you work for micro4you and do you shop to North America? I am interested in the N-Link.

Also, spasbyspas can you please provide some instructions on how to program the CPU? Where can I buy one that is assembled and working.

They speak english. I asked them in Pnlab if they ship to Europe and told me that the cost of Jlink is 26 euro while the shipping cost is 31 euro!

have anyone tested for V.8 yet ?

I tested JLink v7 with newest firmware V4.14i (download from SEGGER http://www.segger.com/cms/jlink-software.html ).
Firmware updated OK.
testing for uploading/downloading RAM/FLASH is OK.

Has anyone tried to update / program a (Blank) V8 Hardware ??

I have just tried the binary firmware , and it comes up as a J-link , and is working.
But i fail on upgrading the unit , with a newer software.

I might have no bootloader (i think) , or fuse problems.

Does anyone have hints on getting the bootloader or other help ??

Any suggestions

Don't lock the sectors when you are done programming. See: http://www.sonsivri.com/forum/index.php?topic=28574.0; this applies to v7 & v8 too.

The above wasn't the solution to my problem

My solution was the V8.bin file from here , now it also accept updates
http://forum.micro4you.com/arm-development-tools/problem-wir-%27arm-jtag-usb%27-arm-006-3-programmer-dead/msg128/#msg128

Witch apparently is a firmware with bootloader in it.

Thanx n....n.z  Cheesy

Btw : remember to set secutity and brownout detection fuses

I think something happened to sonsivri's file storage, can someone check the files that are at the start of this thread, they all seem to be corrupted.  Have seen this on a few different files/threads already.

Got a Jlink v7 Clone from a friend (says Jlink v7 on pcb) , only has a green led and

It's got a sam7s64 + 2 x TI "NH245" driver chips.

Does anyone know what "updated" firmware to load on this ?
I mean the Serial & GDBFull fix ...

Would it work with a v8 firmware ??

Or should i make sure to get a v7 firmware (bootloader)

Add : I loaded the V7 firmware
