All you need is a zero cross detector, a SCR or TRIAC and a variable delay based on the period of the line frequency.

This is a fairly simple project, good to learn from.

Hi Selim,
The file is missing in the Link you have given and hence could not be downloaded. What did you want to show us? Light dimmer with Pic Microcontroller? Light dimming using Pic Microcontroller with Triac is interesting and many circuits are there in Net. Those are interested, can see the interesting Article of Light Dimming with  Pic Microcontroller with source code  and the Author is  Nikola Toncev, B.Sc.EE. and the Link is:   http://www.mikroe.com/en/
