I'm looking for a simple to use Microchip PIC. Any suggestions? I'm looking for something with an Internal OSC. ( 4Mhz + ) I'm currently using the PIC16F684. but I'm always interested to hear what others are using. I was using the PIC16F84a and the PIC16f628, but neither have internal Osc. I wish it is tho .. it would be really great if it is :D I think the OP jcsntoll is asking for a simple project using PIC with internal osc. Something that came to mind is LED sublimation clock. Or a simple alarm unit. You can use PIC12F675, PIC12F683, PIC16F88 or PIC16F690. so every one I think choseing Microchip on memory requirement. as now a days C compilers become more and more strong we can choise wide range. right from 12F to dspic or pic32. If you can use C and slight a bit asm then any one of microchip is sutable for you. Now you have to decide which is correct for product. Rest of programeing and memory management that all is your skill. Do good project skill will automatically get increase. And obsuly keep touch with sonsivri so that every one here increase skill with each othere experiences and abilities.
