It depend very much on your data speed and also the total cable length. The higher the speed the more it cost. If you use glass based type of cables. I would not recommend making them your self. But the fiber terminator is easy to obtain in many types. Tell us more about your requirements.
Best regards

The PLR135/T9 max pulse frequency is 16MHz, here is the datasheet: [https://www.mouser.com/datasheet/2/143/PLR135_T9_datasheet-28766.pdf], Relatively slow, but sufficient for my needs.
There's a lot of fiber optics on the market, no need to made it myself. I can buy it directly from the market.

only need know which type of them. oh, I will ask them on line...

Now I understand your question I missed the detail in the heading. The datasheet did not mention anything about the connector type. It kind of look like male Toslink connector. But that would be guess from my side. I have done some work on google but is non the wiser. Ask mouser that is what I would have done

sorry for my late reply, I can't access here recently.
this part is suspend production, so they don't contact manufacturer, and when I contact them, they told me they only  manufacture, no care technology.

It is pain on mobile phone reply this.

Dreamcat what is the length of fiber you want to use?
it's the same as used in audio units, standard Toslink.
https://www.mouser.co.uk/datasheet/2/143/EVER_S_A0003536625_1-2548644.pdf

10M lenght is about £5 on ebay

An example of such cables:

thanks a lot.
I bought two fiber cables to test.

but now I found that it have only short transmission distance. I need to find more..

Hello DreamCat,

for more transmission distance You should switch to real fiber.
TOS-Link uses cables made of plastic material and no glass.
They are limited to short ranges.
As a reference i have used "Agilent HFBR-0400" some years ago.
Modern fiber cables use LC-connectors now.
With a multimode cable You can achieve around 500 m.
With singlemode cables this is extended to far more.

Best Regards

You can also get quite cheap Fiber Nic Card. Maybe it would be smarter to get some of those

That series is still made. But not by Agilent. They are made by Broadcom/Avago. I have used the HFBR series with ST connector. Worked well and plug and play. Mouser has many variants in the HFBR series

Just for reference, the insertion loss (IL) of the 1mm PMMA POF is 0.19 dB/m and the SMF28 (glass) Fiber has an IL of 0.18 dB/km. That is 1000 times lower!

If you can use ethernet I recommend a media converter. They are very cheap theses days.
In Europe you can buy them from FS.com (Germany warehouse):
https://www.fs.com/de-en/c/media-converters-extenders-1037?sort_order=price&count=24&settab=two

The SFPs are very cheap, starting from 8€ each inc. VAT, and the fiber patch cords are also cheap.
