Post by: TRLine on April 18, 2007, 01:23:21 01:23
Hello every one,
I have a ACER ASPIRE 3000 (Phoenix BIOS) laptop and i have lost my BIOS (i think a virus damage my BIOS).
Now, I cannot boot in anyway. So i cannot manage to update my BIOS at all.
I want to program the Flash Memory that stores BIOS data with a programmer (a Device or a Circuit).
How can i overcome this problem.

Flash Memory : SST
                     39VF040
                     70-4C-NH
                     0537055-55-L

Hi,

Do you have the firmware before you proceed to replace the IC?
