How did you become a member here, then? 

To me, your suggestion comes across as good enough for you (and another member who started a new thread to try to agree with you), but nobody else?

Increasing the value of the site by inviting quality new members is part of your duty as a member, or do you expect the rest of us to do it for you?

Most of the fills in the papers requests topic are by a member I invited.  Had he not requested, and had I not taken the time read his request to join, you'd be out of luck in requesting an IEEE paper.

Sorry it's so inconvenient for you to give back some of your time here, and that what you've gotten out of this place is of little value to yourself.

Sorry, I didn't mean that way. I was thinking about option to temporarily apply a filter. OK, forget about that. It's stupid idea. I missed the real value of invites.

Then you get enough postsings to invite members. Spend some time and take a look invite requests. Instead of getting annoyed by them. Now and then it can be quite entertaining reading them

Imagine what stuff being posted via "contact us" email. Recently some guy was asking proforma for purchasing CADdy++. Wanna chat with him? Kidding aside, thanks to them that they giving fun.

Looks I am missing lot of fun here. Need to spent moe time online.
