While i own quite a few BASIC compiler, i use Melabs PBP for 99.99% of my design who use PIC10 to PIC18.  The remaining 0.01% is when customer ask for a source code using their own compiler such as PROTON PDS and/or MikroBasic.

I have used most compilers in the past and for a long time in the early days use Pbpro. But as soon as the project got complex Pbpro started to give me so much trouble. The code is very inneficiant and before you know you have to move to a bigger device.

I started to write my own routines to get round the problem but found that Pbpro makes it hard and I was forever having to drop down into asm, as soon as I found another compiler that worked better then I jumped ship.

I admire people still using Pbpro they have more sticking power then me. It drove me nuts!
