Title: Extending Trial of Autodesk Inventor and other Autodesk Products
Post by: rbs_phoenix on December 23, 2016, 11:55:51 11:55
Hi,

some time ago, I found out, that you can extend the trial version of the latest (2017) Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD without any tools or keygens, what so ever. Most likely, this workaround will work with most of AutoDesk's Applications.

You can download the trial versions from the autodesk webpage, after you created an account. You can use whatever you like as Account-Name and Email, because you don't have to verify the E-Mail adress. The trial version is like the buyable version, so without any functional limitations. The only problem is, that it is only usable for 30 days. Unlike the student-versions. You can use these for 3 years but you need a confirmed educational email adress and when you print a drawing, it says that it was created with the studentversion. You also are not allowed to use a student version at work, without being a student at all.

For myself, I put the content of the FLEXnet folder in a zip-archive, so that nothing can change the properties of the files and so I can not accidentally move(!) the license files and loose the backup.

If you want to install more applications (like Inventor AND AutoCAD), you have to install AND LAUNCH all programs at the same time in the future, because all licenses are stored in the same single file.

Because this is my first post in this forum, I hope I did everything right and you all can undestand my english ;)
I hope this helps someone. I use Inventor like this on my computer at work, where I can not use any illegal keygens or licenses.

Great share, But information like this needs to be in text file so only our members can see it, Otherwise they could close this back door in the next release. I've not tired it but may try it out to see if it works
