I want to generate Software PWM and the software which I am using is "Proton" and I need PWM frequency = 20KHZ, please tell me how can i do this. Device=16f876A ; Xtal=20 I have read Software PWM command detail from proton help and acc. to this; If a 20MHz crystal is used, then cycle takes approx 1 ms so, 1 cycle=1ms (Minimum Time) then, 1cycle frequency = 1KHz (Maximum Frequency) So, how can I Produce 20khz PWM Frequency as produced through HPWM command. Please do help me because i need 3 PWM's for 3-phase Induction motor Control The method of producing Software PWM is also provided by microchip but I don't understand that how to produce.
