Title: IC socket to PCB adapter?
Post by: ehnonymouse on May 27, 2015, 04:02:45 16:02
I'm trying to replace an 18 pin IC with a circuit of my own design and would like to find a header that will hold a small PCB vertically, with pins from the header connecting to either side of the PCB. I've looked around but can't find anything, although I'm sure I've seen one in the past. Does anyone know where I can get them or have any other good ideas? Many Thanks.

That is almost exactly what I was thinking of, although I was thinking of SMT ones that didn't go through the board. Thank you very much for your help;I'll buy some today.

My $0.02: for SMD edge connectors, SAMTEC usually has what I need.
