Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: bliviudaniel on December 12, 2007, 10:48:52 10:48 I bought PICkit2 with 29$(normally it's 49$, but I got a discount). Do you really thing that it's worthy to build this programmer instead of buying PICkit2? Is it better? ???
Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: picbasic4 on December 12, 2007, 11:15:47 11:15 I bought PICkitTM2DebugExpress in discount sale.
I bought approximately five PICKIT2. Because it is a pure article, I am good. I am for ISPs, but I attach an IC socket adapter and use it. I used K-128 made by DIYKIT before. :) Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: godblessu on December 12, 2007, 11:29:50 11:29 I am assembling this programmer to test.
http://tecmb.com/pickit2_clone.html I think a good circuit. I post results here when finish. Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: murof on December 13, 2007, 05:16:18 17:16 I am testing Brennner8 USB PIC programmer, good circuit

There are a lot of topic about gtp usb here in our forum please try to search. If you want to make a simple usb programmer and easier to build for PIC I suggest the usbpicprog. Do you really thing that it's worthy to build this programmer instead of buying PICkit2? Is it better? ??? I think PICKIT2 is Better compare to GTP USB because you can also use PICkit 2 for programming avr mcu based on this topic http://www.sonsivri.com/forum/index.php?topic=27727.0 Best regards, glenndr_15 Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: pickit2 on March 02, 2010, 10:05:33 22:05 where is the firmware for 18f2550? Here is a French PICKIT2 Clone http://kudelsko.free.fr/prog_pic_usb_V2/sommaire.htm (http://kudelsko.free.fr/prog_pic_usb_V2/sommaire.htm) To access to the differents pages, click on the left on bold text, like "Présentation", "Logiciel Microchip" http://kudelsko.free.fr (http://kudelsko.free.fr) is a good site French for PIC Applications. Best Regards. Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: 3v0 on March 14, 2010, 07:10:26 19:10 I know the thread is stale. (but)
The PICkit2 is a good programmer and can be had from microchip direct for about $30 (without a target board). It can also be used as a 4 channel logic analyzer and more importantly in circuit debugging. There are also plans for several good clones. Why bother with building less able tools. 3v0 Title: Re: USB Pic programmer Post by: Shunt on March 17, 2010, 06:35:49 18:35 ...
