Title: mikroICD compatible compilers
Post by: M.yasser on July 24, 2011, 10:50:46 22:50
Hi,
Recently I’ve purchased EasyPic6 and I’m satisfied. I want to use mikroICD but with CCS C compiler which I’m used to it. Is it possible to use any other compiler than mikroC.
If yes, can anybody list the supported compilers?
Regards.

I don't think that would be possible. Why would a company support another company's hardware if it wants to sell its own? U can try modifying easypic to connect to CCSs ICD, in the end it's only 5 connections to modify (VPP, VDD, CLK, DATA, GND).

Regards...

If ccs produces file .cof, perhaps he is able, but I think that cannot be done

CCS C does produce a .cof file.

CCS C COMPILER PRODUS COF FILES IN MPLAB AS WELL BUT YU NEED ICD3 PROGAMER(DEBUGER) CONECCTED TO EASYPIC6 FOR USING ICD3 COF. FILE PRODUCED IN MPLAB
