Hi to all,

Get the student edition of this great compiler from that page:

Apply the patch...

After that, try v3.01 upgrade version...

Any comments???

Microchip has just released v3.02 update for C18

How is this one?

In theory, if we have commercial-like compiler version of C18, we should be able to upgrade to its minor versions.

But you know sometimes theory fails...

So at least we have to try it stressed.

Maybe next time with a source code and screen shots can be more appreciate, isnt it?

Hi!
The updater complaints that I shall contact Microchip if I want to update.....
Guess that the update need to be cracked as well. But the original version is good enough for me. It also behaves well with f.ex. TextPad.

Hello everybody,

Sorry, I have MPLAB IDE V7.30, MPLAB C18 V3.0, and use pickit2pic18f2550 on C:\mcc18\example\pickit2pic18f2550 example.

Now, it is available because i have to uninstall and new install.

But, i can't upgrade to v3.02.

Use this file first before installing C18.
It works for all versions of C18 Upgrades.
