Here are a tutorial of Atmels at91sam7xxx or phillips lpc21xxx . I just got it work it was simple just like starting with pic or avr. Schematic and 2 nice Tutorial with images and source samples . Color TFT LCD, Ethernet server, usb,can......  you name it !!!!!
I use this board  http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8244
But you dont need it there are schematics. I use a Jtag programmer. I am planing to build a pda or mobile phone or something.....

If you need help just email me.
I cant help you with C I am newbee and hope there will come some experts!!!!!!!
But I can help you setting it up and flash it an get something on the screen and flsah a led Smiley

The board i have is a sam7ex256 maybee look at www.olimex.com they build some nice development boards.

its for the sam7x256 board. It is shipped with 2 diffrent display but it is written in the toturial Smiley
If you can not get the board working it maybee be the boot sector you have to set it to boot from internal memory. becouse it can boot from external for exampel a flash sd card Smiley
