I´m not a brazilian, but near (...portuguese...)  My life are "switched" from here (Natal/RN/Brazil) and Portugal.

Having some real experience with years of electronic development, PCB layout, and  own projects...

I like to make some contacts with other tech people (if possible) because the RN unfurtunately are weak in this area and others around that. The universitary people that I´ve treated some contacts can´t demonstrate great interest about beguining something inovative here with commercial or industrial thing... Are hard to buy very simple electronic components, tools, etc... All are in S.Paulo city...   Why?

Hi Sun_rise,
I'm from Rio de Janeiro and buy electronic parts from São Paulo using mail services like SEDEX. You can use this too.

Maia
