USBASP on notebook with win vista home basic

I just buy a HP Compaq 6720S notebook with windows vista home basic preinstalled. I try to use usbasp from fischl.de, but when I conect the programmer, vista dont say anything, no found new hardware etc nothing. This programmer work very well on a desktop PC with win xp. Can someone tell me how to resolv this ?

launching this programmer whith rights administrators.or set mode compatibility in win98 (or xp)?

problem solve, I did not put the zener diode on D+ and D- (tip from fischl.de owner), after I install zener diode, win vista recognize the programmer very well .

in such cases a good starting utility is Microsoft USBView - USB Connection Viewer.

also it looks strange that on winXp is detected and on vista not. That zenner diode seems more a power management to me. Maybe is more related to computer's peripherals more than os.
