Need Help : Asus E203MAH & Proteus

Hello,

Am planning to buy a small laptop and came across ASUS E203MAH with 11.6 inch display which looks pretty good and compact. The processor is celeron dual core N4000 with 4gb RAM. I will be using small softwares and keil. Main graphic software will be proteus only. That too i will be using proteus to open and view the files... Desiging i will be using my desktop.
Planning to install windows 10 lite version to so that no additional bloatwares are there to make the system more smoother.

Will it be a good choice as portable low cost laptop??? I think keil and other small softwares will run smoothly but my doubt is with proteus. Kindy let me know if anyone hs used this...

It'll work but it isn't a good choice, I have laptops from 2011 that has more grunt than that spec (and RAM).

11" display is too small to work with, unless you are planning on hooking it up to a larger screen then i'd go no smaller than 15", I always go 17" and even that is a bit small sometimes and I have to wait till I am at my desk with my monitors to complete.

yes I have a Dell xps13 @ 4k and its a pain, just about usable away from my 28" screen.
there are some cheap second user dell's 17" I have one as my walk about pc. I took it in part payment for a job I did last year, I would gladly pay for a replacement today, if I needed to. 6 core 12 thread & 32GB plus two 1TB Sdd drives

Thanks everyone for the inputs... This laptop is not for everyday usage.. sometimes i need to program ic's in the customer field and need to compiler custom code for them. Like that very limited usage only. For my regular work i have a desktop. My 5 year old sony vaio i3 become dead all of a sudden. So thought of replacing with a smaller laptop for mobile usage only. Anyways will look in to a i3 laptop with 15.6 inch itself. Thank you all...

I recommend you to look for used ThinkPads with core i7, for example X230 or X240, etc. Google for specs and owners communities. There are plenty of them.

But also look for newer i5's if you seek longer battery life.

PS: never look for celerons or atoms, they're too slow.
