Hello,

When I use the model pspice for the IR2110 for a full bridge I got overflow error. Does someone have a solution to this problem ?

I tried a lot of tweak with the solver, try to use initial condition on various capacitor... But no found solution !

Thanks a lot !

Regards.

What happens when you delete everything from the MOSFETS onwards and probe what would have been the gate inputs?

Your problem is in U1 and likely in U2 with the same issue but the sim stopped after first error.

Try deleting U1 and U2 and re simulate - you obviously wont get a good sim but if that error goes away, then you know you have narrowed it down.

Your can take a look at the sub-circuit (E_MD3... line) of that controller to see where the overflow multiply is and maybe do something about it.

This can be a frustration with SPICE, sometimes subcircuits from other vendors are not well designed for all flavors of spice (Pspice, Xspice etc..)

Try the .options LIMIT as suggested in the error message?

Try a different controller?
Try a different simulator (that has that controller)?

I can explain this to you. I can't comprehend it for you.
