What is this for?

« on: October 30, 2018, 04:54:38 16:54 »

I have a project which may optionally (selected via jumper) be power from 5 or 3.3 volts.  Proteus takes control of Vdd etc. preventing me from manually adding power rails. Any suggestions?

Use input / outputs rather than a power connection, it's how I get around it.

In Proteus Power Rails can be configured according to the user's need by going to menu driven commands
Design -> Configure Power Rails...
User can also create new power rails with different names with different voltage levels

I just change the net name in the properties of the component with hidden pins
