Hi all,

 I would like to know about the practical implementation of digital control of resonant converters. And also to know how to enhance frequency resolution by dithering.
Can somebody please share a practical implementation technique of  micro-controller based such converters.

The major semi vendors have microcontroller-based LLC reference designs. Here are a couple of links from Infineon to get you started - google is your friend to find many more. (I know that both TI and ST have similar reference designs).

Dithering has its drawbacks - I've seen higher-resolution PWMs used in cases where tighter freq control is required. (But for a practical product, such techniques are better avoided where possible.)
