I've purchased a Chinese wireless servo controller, and of course there are no instructions.  I've beat the net to  death and the only thing that I've found is a YouTube in Chinese.  If anyone could give me a hand for the value of the potentometer  at 3:07 minutes it would be appreciated.

If you have them have you tried to measure the value of the pot, you measure between 2 pins to get total value, the middle one is the variable one in one direction you will read the max value of the pot the other way the min value, failing that if you are not getting true readings is to un-solder one, remove it from pcb and measure it that way. I think they may just use the pot to match the rx and tx unit together to enable the user to have 2 or more units without having to reprogram them.
Looking at the photos they have numbers on them this is so you set both to say 5 and they should work,
Another question how many leads are there on the pot it could be a bcd type this type normally have 6 pins on them

When you think, "I can't do anymore. I need a break," that is the time to challenge yourself to keep going another five minutes. Those who persevere for even an extra five minutes will win in life..

Sorry that I did not explain clearly.  I do not have the pot, all I have are the 2 boards that are shown on the eBay link. I need the pot/value
thanks, Lou

I would just try a 10k pot, if it doesn't work lower the resistance, maybe 2k or 1k pots.
You can't damage anything with a 10k pot and it will probably work. Below 1k might be to much current for the board.

someone who speaks chines might be able to help you if the guy mentioned the values and how it really works in the video.. the board is amazing already for what it does :- )

did you try contacting the seller, comment on the video, I translated the comments and they all say that they understand, and it is a very clear explanation.

Looked into this video and the guy didn't mention the value. Since this pot is in series with another pot (model 3362 from Bourn) for servo position adjustment, and the potential at the wiper of the pot indicates the servo position, a safe bet is to use a pot larger than the adjustment pot (Its value should be visible on its side).
And I agree with vern, a pot larger than 1k probably would not kill your board, and 10k is a safe bet.
