Hi everyone.

Note: All the questions below are extracted from http://ieeexplore.ieee.org.sci-hub.ac/document/6078439

1) What is the purpose of R1 as in Fig. 1 below ?

2) For equation (6) below, I am wondering where the extra term "VG(T)" comes from to be part of Vbe(T) ?

3) What is the purpose of the MosCAP (MPa8) connected to "Out" in opamp topology below ?

4) Are there ways to derive maths equations for "biasp" and "casp" ?

I graduated from school already, so don't do pointless tests anymore.

I also rarely write equations, though I have been known to use 2nd order differential equations to balance my checkbook.

What are you trying to do?

He is trying to pass control questions addressed to him from his professor to us. I doubt I want to answer.

promach, if you do not understand an article (that you should read carefully and completely), then you either did not think enough or just did not read some simpler articles before. Each academic article tries to maintain level of science culture giving reader references to all sources that was used and that are needed as background for understanding article's points. For example introducing first figure the author directly points you to [9] and [10] that are needed to understand that without redundant repetition of texts. If [9] or [10] is too complicated for you - go further by references in [9] and [10] or search for alternatives. One of them - thinking (starting from imbalanced mirror for example), worst of them - asking in forum to make your homework.

Wow!  I'm with Solutions on this one!

This is a fairly narrow niche of EE related to analog IC design.  I don't practice in this space.

It does sound like homework problems though without any context regarding why one would want to solve these problems.

Hi all

look at the bright side ,

when Promach graduate he will bring us real design problem to solve - like designing DSP ,switch power supply & high speed microprocessor
he will ask for source code , hardware design ,PCB layout ,antenna design rf power amplifier.....

so we all have something to look for in the near future ....

all the best
