NoteI'm a professional embedded programmer, doing mostly work on Cortex-M0/M0+/M3/M4 at the moment, but have lots of experience with AVR (Xmega) and the 8051. My focus is real-time applications (mainly automation, some automotive) and high-speed stuff (pretty much 95% of this is DRAM debugging).

I want to register here because I bought a cheap knockoff J-Link clone, accidently started the Segger software commander (or whatever it is called) and it bricked it. Now I need a firmware to get it working again for which I need a password (which I guess is displayed once I register).

Would be super awesome if I could register here. Cheers!

because he'll leach the j-link firmware and we'll never see him again ?  I mean he has posted that the only reason he wants to register is to get that one thing... no mention of any desire to help/contribute ...
