Yeah. You know what there  is a thermal load inside the PC case. So it is quite easy to cool it that way.

What is sad is my mother in law did nearly the same thing (less the tape ) when here CPU fan gave out, she took both sides off the PC and put a fan on the desk next to the PC to blow air through the case...

i would recommend a more space between the cooling device and the CPU, that will allow more air flow inside...

It seems like a good Project. Where is the fish tank by the way? Maybe, with Project costs running so high they couldn't afford one.
